Mini-Plant Design and Operation
Mini-Plants are a key element in the development of technology for our clients. They are used to validate processes and as pilot plants at our own purpose-built test facility or on our client's premises. The information they provide is also used for the design of industrial scale plants. We build Mini-Plants covering a variety of reactor concepts and operating conditions including:-

Our Mini-Plants are so called because they are often scaled down plants used in the manufacture of petrochemicals, using the same unit operations at the same process conditions using proven and well understood reactor designs. These plants can replace conventional batch processes to produce commercial scale quantities of speciality chemicals and pharmaceuticals in continuous operation; this is often referred to as Process Intensification.
