Today three of the methanol industry?s major players - Johnson Matthey Catalysts, Davy Process Technology and Aker Kvaerner ? have announced that they are joining forces in a new collaborative alliance known as One Synergy.  The new alliance, launched on 7^th December 2004 at the World Methanol Conference in Barcelona, brings together the technology know-how and expertise of each of the companies to offer a fully integrated service for designing and building synthesis gas (for methanol and gas to liquids applications) and methanol plants worldwide.  The three companies have over 100 years of cumulative experience in methanol and syngas and to date had major roles in around 40% of current global methanol capacity.  The new team will provide leading edge technology and a stronger, faster, more effective service to the customer.
